33 Event Catering – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings and services provided by 33 Event Catering. By confirming a booking, the client agrees to the following terms.

1. Deposit Payments

A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total booking value is required to secure the event date. No booking is confirmed until the deposit has been received. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 7 days prior to the event date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Guest Numbers & Event Details

The client must confirm final guest numbers, menu selections, venue access times, and all event details no later than 7 days before the event.
Once confirmed, guest numbers cannot be reduced. If guest numbers increase after confirmation, 33 Event Catering will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the increase but cannot guarantee availability.

3. Portion Control & Service Limits

All catering services are based on the agreed guest numbers. Portions are prepared accordingly and are intended for the confirmed number of guests only.
33 Event Catering reserves the right to limit service quantities to ensure fair distribution among guests. Requests for additional portions may incur additional charges.

4. Cancellations

If the client cancels the booking:

  • More than 14 days before the event: deposit is retained.

  • 7–14 days before the event: 50% of the total booking value is payable.

  • Less than 7 days before the event: 100% of the total booking value is payable.

Any costs already incurred for special orders, staffing, or hired equipment may also be charged.

5. Equipment Hire & Security Deposits

Where equipment is hired or supplied by 33 Event Catering (including but not limited to BBQs, serving equipment, tables, or catering equipment), a refundable security deposit may be required.
This deposit will be returned after the event once all equipment has been inspected and confirmed as returned in good condition.

6. Damage to Equipment

The client is responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of equipment supplied by 33 Event Catering during the event.
Costs for repair or replacement will be deducted from the security deposit. If damages exceed the deposit value, the client will be invoiced for the remaining amount.

7. BBQ & Outdoor Catering Risks

For BBQ or outdoor catering events, service may be affected by weather conditions, venue restrictions, or safety concerns.
33 Event Catering reserves the right to adjust cooking methods or service arrangements where necessary to maintain safety and food quality. The client must ensure adequate outdoor space and safe operating conditions for equipment.

8. Food Safety & Allergies

33 Event Catering takes food safety seriously and follows all relevant food hygiene regulations.
Clients must inform us of any dietary requirements or allergies at least 7 days before the event. While every effort will be made to accommodate allergies, we cannot guarantee that dishes will be completely free from traces of allergens due to shared preparation environments.

9. Abuse Towards Staff

33 Event Catering maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behaviour directed at staff.
If such behaviour occurs, staff reserve the right to cease service immediately without refund.

10. Venue Access

The client must ensure suitable access to the venue for delivery, setup, service, and collection of equipment.
If access restrictions, delays, or additional setup challenges occur, 33 Event Catering reserves the right to charge additional fees where applicable.

11. Force Majeure

33 Event Catering will not be held liable for failure or delay in performing services due to circumstances beyond reasonable control. These may include but are not limited to extreme weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, transport disruptions, or other unforeseen events.

12. Insurance

33 Event Catering holds Public Liability Insurance with coverage up to £5,000,000. Proof of insurance can be provided upon request.

13. Data Protection

33 Event Catering collects and stores client information only for the purpose of processing bookings and delivering services.
All personal data is handled in accordance with UK data protection laws and will not be shared with third parties except where necessary to provide the agreed service.
